OSC developed and is implementing a multi-channel BCC strategy with an emphasis on youth and women using mass media, interpersonal communication, and mHealth to increase the adoption of healthy behaviors across reproductive health, MNCH, WASH, and malaria prevention and treatment. OSC designed and implemented mixed methods formative research of local behaviors to inform its BCC strategy and develop a strategy for promoting local ownership of project interventions. OSC works to promote and strengthen existing community structures, such as Champion Communes, to sustainably increase community engagement in improving local health outcomes.
